Achieved a huge carbon emissions reduction, the equivalent of removing 6.6million car miles off the road

Hertfordshire-based specialists in distribution and warehousing, Aztek Logistics sought a solution that would deliver reliable energy savings to support their high electricity demand. Partnering with BeBa Energy, the business made use of its extensive roof space to install a roof-mounted solar PV system reducing electricity bills by approximately 31% per year.

The 100 kWp system is designed to maximise on-site usage, with 66% of the generated energy consumed directly on site and the remaining electricity exported back to the grid. At BeBa Energy, every system is carefully designed to achieve optimal cost savings by balancing system size, consumption patterns, and export potential to meet each customer’s operational needs.
In addition to the financial benefits, the installation supports Aztek Logistics’ wider ESG objectives, delivering a carbon reduction equivalent to 27,204 trees planted.

BeBa comments

“Aztek Logistics’ proactive approach to managing their high electricity demand was evident throughout the entire process. By embracing green energy from the outset, they are already seeing the benefits of their solar PV installation. We look forward to continuing our partnership through their renewed Premier Plus O&M contract.”
