With over 50 years combined experience, our board of directors have been part of the UK’s solar industry since the early days of the Feed in Tariff.

Stephen Palmer

Managing Director

Over 28 years of board-level experience; Stephen launched BeBa Energy UK following 14 years as a Sales Director for a global lighting-manufacturer. Under his leadership, BeBa has grown steadily over the past 14 years

Darren Oliver

Technical Director

A chartered engineer with a strong technical and operational background, Darren designed and delivered the UK’s first solar farm. During his working career to-date, Darren has specialised in power and electrical systems, with a particular focus on Solar PV.

William Palmer

Commercial Director

With a degree in Real Estate Management, Will joined BeBa in 2022 having qualified as a chartered commercial surveyor in London. His role as Key Account Manager is to ensure that all of BeBa’s valued O&M and key EPC clients receive an unrivalled level of service, whilst also bringing to their attention projects and initiatives that may further enhance their operations.

Jacinta Hurt

Strategic Operations & Compliance Lead

Having worked within the renewable energy sector over 11 years, and having a passion for customer centricity, Jacinta comes with a wealth of experience in managing teams, Project Management and strategic planning. As Strategic Operations and Compliance Lead, Jacinta is aligned to best practice, compliance and taking care of the team from a HR perspective.

Ed has joined the sales team as a Business Development Manager. With a degree in Agriculture from RAU, his primary focus will be on expanding the sales division, building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the company’s overall growth.

Phil has been in the electrical contracting industry for the last 16 years dealing with high-end residential installations and energy saving solutions. Now a chartered construction manager, he heads up our Asset Management team and deals with all forms of repair, monitoring and maintenance

Graduating with a degree in Civil Engineering and with four years of experience in the renewable energy industry, George joined the BeBa Energy design team in 2023. Helping with project design from the initial survey to final commissioning, as well as monitoring and maintenance of the existing BeBa sites

Robert 'Bob' Stone

With a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University, and a background rooted in the agricultural industry, Bob’s role as Graduate Renewable Engineer sees him develop designs for new solar PV systems, as well as monitoring our existing sites.

Leo graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and has joined our design team to contribute his expertise in developing Solar PV and battery storage solutions for our clients. In addition to his design responsibilities, Leo will also be monitoring our existing client systems to ensure they are operating optimally.

Rob joined BeBa in 2022 having overseen the delivery and installation of more than 70MW of solar in the UK – including the UK’s largest solar installation at at airport. Working closely with BeBa’s Technical Director, Rob’s role will see him split his time between the delivering of new project’s and overseeing our service work.

Joe’s role at BeBa sees him assume overall responsibility for our remote monitoring platforms to ensure faults and issues are identify quickly as well as providing monthly reports to asset owners. He holds a Geography BSC from University of Hertfordshire with a focus in spatial data and has experience working in asset management

Karl joined BeBa Energy this year after over ten years of collaboration with the company. He brings extensive knowledge to the team and will support both the projects and O&M teams through project surveys, installation tasks, and O&M responsibilities.
